For the beardy guy, I've created a natural, handmade beard balm to help with growth and to soften the beard, all while a bit of beeswax helps to keep it in check.
It took a while to make the right blend because I had to seek out beards to test the different versions on, but fortunately I had some great testers who provided thorough feedback for me so that I could tweak things and create the "original" version.
The ingredients contained are known to help soften hair and may stimulate growth: coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, rosehip seed oil.
Two scents to choose from:
Lavender-Rosemary:
• lavender - has antimicrobial properties: may help prevent beardruff
• rosemary - invigorating; increases blood circulation; known to stimulate hair follicles, which may help with beard growth; also said to help stimulate mental alertness
Tea tree-Lemon-Peppermint:
• tea tree -has antibacterial properties; refreshing; great for the skin (think: beardruff prevention); can help remove product "build up"
• lemon - detoxifying & fresh
• peppermint - has antiseptic properties; cooling; may stimulate hair follicles, which can help with beard growth

Directions: rub a small amount between fingertips/hands to warm it up for easier distribution. Start from the bottom of the beard and work it in while moving up towards the face. Feel free to work a little into the skin under your beard. Apply until you get the desired texture.
The products are handmade in small batches and because they contain natural ingredients, there may be slight variations in appearance from batch to batch, especially because of the beeswax and the farm it may come from.
Please keep these items away from high heat and direct sunlight. If they get too warm, they may soften. Simply place them in a cool place and they'll go back to their proper consistency.
