**ANNOUNCEMENT: Because of the ratio of oils to butter/wax, the belly balm takes a break during the summer. It will return with the cooler fall temps. If you really need it and do not kind it arriving as a tin of goo until you pop it in some a/c or the fridge, PM me and I will try to help you out.😊**
Created for my sister when she was pregnant with her second child, the "belly balm" is perfect for the mama-to-be. As her belly grows to accommodate her growing baby, her belly may get a bit itchy and dry.
The "belly balm" is handmade with natural ingredients known for their moisturizing properties, such as cocoa butter, which has been used by many women during and after pregnancy.
Ingredients: cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, extra virgin olive oil, Central PA beeswax, vitamin e oil, lavender essential oil
**PLEASE NOTE FOR SUMMER MONTHS that the "belly balm" is very sensitive to heat. I'm tweaking it with just a touch more beeswax to help make it more heat-stable while maintaining its spreadableness (new word!).
Be aware that if you're ordering it as part of a shipped order, I can't guarantee that it won't melt while in transit with USPS in the heat. Those trucks get hot! You may want to hold off on ordering until the weather cools down.**
Also available in the "baby & mama bundle #1":
**NOTE: since all of the products are all-natural and no stabilizers are used, with the ratio of butter and oils used in this recipe and temperature fluctuations while in transit, in colder weather, "belly balm" may form moisturizing beads. That's totally fine and normal. It'll become smooth as it's applied to your belly and warms up to your body temperature. It's still just as awesome of a product.
The products are handmade in small batches and because they contain natural ingredients, there may be slight variations in appearance from batch to batch, especially because of the beeswax and the farm it may come from.
Please keep these items away from high heat and direct sunlight. If they get too warm, they may soften. Simply place them in a cool place and they'll go back to their proper consistency.
